MobiFilter for Android provides a proxy based filtering system for Android phones. We support several different methods of achieving filtered internet on your smart phone. 1. Custom Browser
Pros:
Simple to use
Does not make any permanent changes to your phone

Cons:
Slower than the built in browser and easier to uninstall.

Installation Instructions:
1. Install our custom browser based on Mozilla from here: https://market.android.com/details?id=org.mozilla.fennec_root
2. Start the browser.
3. You will be prompted for a username and password. Enter the username and password you received when you signed up for the trial. We recommend telling the browser to remember your password so you don't need to enter it again.
4. Any browsing you do through this browser goes through our filtering system.

2. Set Proxy
Pros:
This is the fastest option.
Most difficult to remove.

Cons:
Only filters your cellular data connection.
Does not filter your wifi connection.

Installation Instructions:
1. Install the MobiFilter - Set Proxy application from the Market: https://market.android.com/details?id=net.mobifilter.setproxy.
2. Run “MobiFilter” from your applications menu.
3. Enter your username and password then press “Submit Request”
4. Enter “proxy.mobifilter.net” and “8085” in the box that shows up:
5. Press “Save”
6. Press the “Home” button on your phone or else restart your device.
7. Confirm that your phone is filtered by making sure you are not on wifi and going to http://test.mobifilter.net

3. Opera (Uses Opera browser)
Installation Instructions
1. Install “Opera Mobile” from the Market.
2. Open Opera Mobile
3. Type “opera:config” in the address bar.
4. Scroll down and expand the “Proxy” section.
5. In the “HTTP server” and “HTTPS server” boxes enter “proxy.mobifilter.net:8085”
6. Put a checkmark in the “Use HTTP” and “Use HTTPS” boxes.
7. Restart your device.
8. When you are prompted for a username and password enter the username and password you received from Paypal.
