MobiFilter 1.0 Released

After months of development and testing we are proud to announce MobiFilter version 1.0.0.  This release provides BlackBerry and Windows Mobile support with Palm Pre (WebOS) support coming soon.

BlackBerry Support

This version will work on most BlackBerries on Bell, Telus, Rogers, and Sprint.  Verizon support is being worked on.  Supported BlackBerries will receive content filtering on all wireless traffic.  WiFi traffic can either be blocked or left unfiltered depending on the users requirements. 

To assist with ensuring your phone remains filtered we have developed a small testing application you can run on your phone to test the filtering status without visiting undesirable websites.  You can also test by visiting http://test.mobifilter.net.  We are working on a monitoring application for BlackBerries which will alert you when your phone needs to be tested again, look for an annoucement on this in the next 90 days.

Windows Mobile Support

This version contains complete content filtering support for Windows Mobile 6-6.5 devices.

Palm (WebOS) Support

We are working on our support for the WebOS based phones such as the Palm Pre and the Palm Pixi.
